PC is running Ubuntu, Rasberry Pi has openelec. They are both on the same network, I've added the folders with the videos to "Local network share". Allow others to create and delete files is ticked, guest access is ticked. Also under folder permissions I put the group under "sambashare".

The folder shows up fine in Openelec, but when I try to enter it says "Lock preferences for smb://MYCOMP/Videos/ Username: Enter password: Remember for this path?"

I type in all the usernames and passwords I can think of, make sure there are no mistakes, even temporarily change the password to something easy just to get in, the second I hit ok the Enter password goes blank and the username stays the same.https://discord.software/ https://downloader.vip/adobe-reader/ https://downloader.vip/itunes/
