help: Forcing multi-line links to take up the minimum amount of space 11 months 1 week ago #199244

Simple question that's doing my head in.

I've got a bunch of <a ...> in a flexbox. When the screen shirks and the multi-word links wrap onto a new line, the width of the link element stays the same, despite the content now being narrower. I'm styling them up as tabs, and would like the width to match the content as this allows more tabs to fit. Interestingly this extra spaces does shrink away as the page gets smaller.https://dltutuapp.com/ https://9apps.ooo/https://showbox.software/

I'll try an ASCII art it dots are spaces:

Hello World

When the page shrinks becomes:

. Hello . .

. World . .

Its acting like it hasn't recalculated the width.

I want the width to match the content, ie

Hello

World
